Creationz by Dav has been a concept for many many years. Btw this is me (Dav) talking. I grew up in a small town in South Carolina called Greenville. I didn't have money growing up to spend on anything really, especially not high end clothing. Nor was there a "fashion scene", but I was always interested in fashion and drawing. Every sheet of homework, every quiz, every test was filled with sketches and drawings of superheros and shoes I made up. This used to get me in trouble a lot. A LOT A LOT. And I used to think this was a problem, and eventually took a break from drawing for years. Around sophomore year of high school, I realized what i thought was holding me back was actually my advantage and the thing I loved to do more than anything. While all of my peers were filling out college applications and summer internships, I was studying designers and what it would take to start a clothing brand. Junior year of high school I started painting on my clothes and I bought a heat press to start printing my designs on clothes. My friends started taking notice and I started selling my creations. I then came up with the name "Creationz by Dav". I got called to the principles office one day and my principle asked why I hadn't applied to any colleges. I told him I was going to start a brand and skip college. He told me, "cool I think you should have a backup plan." That day I went home and got started on new designs. So moral of the story is, Creationz by Dav is my way of saying fuck you to school. I hope you enjoy it. Love you.
